Terms of Service & EULA

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iON mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use iON.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

iON lets you create posts, comments, messages, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership and grant iON a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it to operate the App. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

4. Objectionable Content and Conduct — Zero Tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

You agree NOT to post, send, or share content that:

• is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, or defamatory;
• is sexually explicit, pornographic, or exploits minors;
• depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities;
• infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• is spam, fraudulent, or deceptive.

You also agree not to harass, bully, stalk, impersonate, or threaten other users.

5. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

• You can report objectionable content and block abusive users directly in the App.
• We review reports and act on objectionable content and offending accounts — removing content and ejecting offending users — typically within 24 hours of a report.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.

6. Virtual Currency ("ON")

• iON includes a closed virtual currency called ON.
• ON has no monetary value, cannot be purchased with real money, and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash or anything of real-world value.
• ON and related features may be modified or discontinued at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or interfere with the App; (b) access it by automated means except as permitted; (c) attempt unauthorized access to systems or other accounts; (d) use the App to violate any law.

8. Location Features

iON uses your location (with permission) to show nearby people and posts. You can disable location access in iOS Settings; some features may then be unavailable.

9. Intellectual Property

The App (excluding User Content) is owned by iON and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, iON WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

13. Apple App Store — Additional Terms

This EULA is between you and iON only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support; Apple is not responsible for product warranties or third-party IP claims; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it. You confirm you are not in a U.S.-embargoed country or on any U.S. prohibited-parties list.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
